About me and how I practice

I am a pre-licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Intern. I am pursuing my master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy at Regis University and am currently in the clinical phase of the program. I have experience working with families, children, adolescents, couples, and individuals. I specialize in Narrative, Emotionally Focused, and Solution-Focused Therapy.

For as long as I can remember, I have wanted to help others. Active listening, being empathetic, and showing compassion for others during tough times has always come naturally to me. I strive to bring these natural strengths, as well as the tools I have learned throughout my time as a student, to give the best possible care to each of my clients/families/couples. I believe that a client should be able to leave each therapy session with a greater understanding and self-awareness of how they can navigate through their lives. I recognize that each client has their own unique history and reasons for wanting to attend therapy and I make sure to bring a unique style to match each of my clients during session. I believe that therapy should be a place where clients can navigate these changes or events without feeling shamed or judged. Wanting change or wanting to work through traumatic events in our lives can seem like a daunting task. I recognize and appreciate the strength and courage you have shown by seeking out therapy.
