We think of the issues that are dealt with in therapy as a passage - sometimes these things feel dark, narrow, steep. When it gets hard to traverse, it can help to have someone with you along the way. This is much like the therapeutic relationship: you're taking the steps while your therapist may lend a guiding hand or a steadying grip through a dicey spot. Then, when you see the next logical step and you get through the passage, you can continue on your journey.
Therapy can be individual meetings, with family members, or include partners.
This really varies from person to person. Most try to attend once per week to work through their presenting issue. Others prefer differing schedules and it can take more or less time, again, depending on your goals and how much work there is to do. Please feel free to contact us with more questions and to see if we might work well together.

Recommendations for use:
Find a space where you can be alone in a room with a secure and reliable internet connection. If there are background noises, please test and use headphones with with a mic - the ones that frequently come with cell phones work well. You can use a computer with a web cam or a smart phone for us to meet.
